SAN FRANCISCO (AP) As Bryce Harper ran back to chase Gregor Blanco's hard-hit fly in the ninth inning, memories of last week's scary collision with the wall at Dodger Stadium suddenly surged into his mind.

The ball dropped for a tying triple, Pablo Sandoval followed with a two-run homer in the 10th and the Washington Nationals lost 4-2 to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night - a collapse that had Harper second-guessing himself in the clubhouse.

"Of course it crosses your mind after you jam into a wall. It doesn't feel very good," Harper said. "I take the loss on me."
